About the Work

Our Head of Performance Marketing is looking for a Performance Marketing Advisor - someone that can act as a sounding board, pressure-test thinking, and help develop new strategies for their paid media, currently spending $300K / month.

Specifically, you'll:

  • Meet weekly with our Head of Performance Marketing to review data and discuss strategy
  • Run your own audits of our performance
  • Pressure-test budgets, forecasts, and strategies across paid channels
  • Advise on MMM implementation and incrementality testing
  • Review launch plans for new channels
  • Advise on expanding beyond paid social into channels like CTV, podcasts, OOH
  • Provide a POV on app attribution, marketing tech, and tagging as we expand into web

NOTE: If your expertise leans more towards creative strategy work specifically, we're separately hiring for a Fractional Creative Strategy Leader.

About You

You MUST have:

  • Owned all performance marketing for other early and growth stage startups
  • Deep consumer mobile expertise - driving app downloads from a consumer audience
  • Overseen budgets of at least $300K/mo
  • Extremely current knowledge, within the last 12 months, of in-platform execution across Meta and other major social channels
    • You must either have been doing ad buys yourself or directly managed a team doing it within the last 12 months
  • Diversified media spend beyond paid social and into other channel types: podcasts, paid search, OOH, CTV, etc.
  • Can be based anywhere in the world, but must be able to work typical USA hours

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience implementing MMM and incrementality testing
  • Worked in regulated industries (fintech, sports betting, gambling) or with male-dominated audiences
  • Experience with web attribution (pixels, tags, cookies)
