About Us
We're a Series-A funded sports betting startup with a strong community focus.
We have more than 700,000 users, with a 4.8 App Store rating, and one of the top 50 iOS apps in the Sports category.
About the Work
Our paid ads creative is performing, but we don't know what we're missing or where we could be doing better. We're looking for a Fractional Creative Strategy Leader to review our creative output, guide our editing team, and help us get more from our video ads.
Specifically, you'll:
- Audit our current paid ad creative on Meta and TikTok and identify specific opportunities to improve performance
- Brief our in-house and freelance video editors on the latest hooks, formatting, and other best practices
- Recommend new creative directions we should be testing or making big bets with
- Pressure-test our briefs to creators, including UGC creators and celebrity talent
- Work most closely with our Head of Performance Marketing as a sounding board, and our creative strategy intern
About You
You MUST have:
- Led creative strategy/direction overseeing paid media creative, for other consumer tech startups (not B2B)
- Very recent paid media work, for video
- If you've not been closely involved with the paid media landscape in the last year, we won't be the right fit
- Significant experience directing UGC creators
- Experience with celebrity talent too would be a plus
- Overseen structured creative tests, providing guidance on hook variations, format A/Bs, and iterating based on performance data
- Can be based anywhere in the world, but must be able to work typical USA hours
Some nice-to-haves:
- Male-dominated consumer audience expertise
- Gen Z audience expertise
- Mobile app performance marketing expertise
