Job Description
VOW for Girls seeks a dynamic and experienced Fractional VP of Marketing & Communications to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight during a transitional period. This is a part-time(up to 3 days per week) role ideal for a seasoned marketing and communications professional with a passion for social impact. The Fractional VP will act as a generalist, guiding strategy, overseeing agency partners, and ensuring the consistent execution of VOW for Girls’ communications plan.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic guidance on all marketing and communications initiatives, aligning with VOW for Girls’ mission, revenue goals, and brand identity.
- Agency Management: Oversee and manage external agency partners responsible for public relations, digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Content Oversight: Oversee the creation and distribution of compelling content across various channels, ensuring brand consistency and impactful messaging.
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain brand standards and guidelines, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating updates and progress on marketing and communications initiatives.
- Measurement and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of marketing and communications campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to the CEO.
Role Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on nonprofit organizations or social impact initiatives.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and communications strategies.
- Experience managing agency partners and budgets.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for VOW for Girls’ mission and commitment to gender equality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work up to 3 days per week.
