What You'll Own
You will be the first dedicated marketing hire and will own the entire demand generation function across both products. Specifically:
For Northstar (primary focus, ~70% of time):
Build and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting individual CEOs at small-to-mid-size companies
Create and manage paid acquisition channels (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads)
Develop content strategy and editorial calendar (LinkedIn thought leadership, blog, case studies)
Build and optimize the conversion funnel — from awareness to signup to paid seat
Coordinate Product Hunt launch and community-driven launch campaigns
Identify and develop partnership channels (business coaches, Vistage groups, fractional executives)
For WeRide365 (~30% of time):
Community-driven growth strategy targeting motorcycle riding groups
Social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok) with short-form video content
App Store optimization and review generation
Sponsorship outreach strategy for motorcycle brands
Week 1 deliverable: Full audit of current positioning + 90-day growth plan with channel prioritization and budget allocation.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
Proven experience in B2B SaaS demand generation (ideally PLG or self-serve models)
Hands-on with paid ads — LinkedIn and Google at minimum
Content marketing strategy experience (not just execution)
Funnel building and conversion optimization
Comfort with data — you measure everything and kill what doesn't work
Experience working with early-stage startups or small teams
Nice-to-haves:
Consumer app marketing experience (for WeRide)
Community-led growth experience
AI/tech industry knowledge
Indianapolis network (local events, partnerships)
Not looking for:
Someone who only does strategy decks and doesn't execute
Agency-style relationship with layers between us
Anyone who needs a large team to get things done
