With active pilots across colleges and universities and hundreds of thousands of AI tutoring sessions delivered, MathGPT.ai is entering a period of rapid growth. We’re seeking a Fractional Head of Product Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy, drive user acquisition and engagement, and design growth loops that may inform future product features.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Execution
- Design and implement growth hacking strategies that leverage both marketing and product capabilities to drive awareness, adoption, and retention.
- Identify, test, and scale product-led growth loops, referral mechanisms, viral hooks, and user engagement funnels.
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams to recommend or support lightweight feature enhancements that enable marketing experiments (e.g., onboarding flows, in-product prompts, usage analytics).
- Own marketing analytics, experimentation frameworks, and reporting to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Scale faculty and student acquisition through multi-channel campaigns (email, events, content, webinars, digital).
Product Marketing & Positioning
- Define and execute the product marketing strategy for MathGPT.ai across higher education segments (community colleges, state universities, and beyond).
- Own market positioning, messaging, and differentiation to clearly articulate MathGPT.ai’s value to faculty, administrators, and students.
- Develop compelling collateral, case studies, and thought leadership content to support sales and institutional adoption.
- Lead launch strategies for new product capabilities, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and customer success.
Market Intelligence & Feedback Loops
- Gather and synthesize faculty and student feedback to shape marketing narratives and identify opportunities for growth-driving product improvements.
- Track competitor positioning and industry trends to inform go-to-market strategy and brand differentiation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or go-to-market strategy, ideally within EdTech, SaaS, or AI-driven products.
- Strong understanding of higher education ecosystems, LMS integrations, faculty decision-making dynamics, and institutional procurement cycles.
- Track record of designing and executing growth strategies that integrate marketing tactics with product experiences.
- Data-driven and experimentation-oriented, with fluency in analytics, funnel optimization, and marketing automation.
- Excellent storytelling, positioning, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving startup environment; fractional or consulting experience a plus.
