About the Work
Until now, our CEO has led our marketing strategy (even managing the Meta Ads account). But we're ready for growth-mode and this won't scale.
We're looking for a Fractional Director of Marketing to develop and own a holistic Marketing strategy that takes our brand, and our sales, to the next level (or three).
Specifically, you'll:
- Develop and lead our entire marketing strategy across the following areas:
- Paid social
- Influencer / ambassador / affiliate
- Events (targeting the Los Angeles area)
- Content
- Retention (email & SMS)
- Own our new product launch strategy, and introduce new ways to spread awareness about our upcoming product launches
- Own our marketing calendar, break down all the execution work necessary and assign it to our team
- Our team consists of a Content Creator, and a Digital Marketing Manager, and a Graphic Designer
- Work most closely with our Founder / CEO
About You
You should meet all the following criteria:
- 8+ years marketing experience for D2C e-commerce brands
- Significant industry experience in any of:
- Women's fashion
- Women's skincare / health / beauty
- Activewear
- Surf culture
- You've led marketing for small D2C brands and grew them substantially
- If your experience is only at large brands, this won't be a fit
- Equally data-driven and creative
- You are based in the Los Angeles area
NOTE: We are interested in independent fractionals only, no agencies.
