Cartelligent is California’s premier car buying and leasing service. We take the hassle, negotiation, and paperwork out of the car buying process for busy, high-income professionals. We are currently modernizing our marketing stack to heavily integrate AI, automation, and advanced search optimization.

The Role

We are looking for a "Senior Technical Doer." We recently partnered with an agency to migrate our legacy WordPress site to a modern, AI-native headless architecture (Vercel / Astro / Sanity CMS).

We are now transitioning away from that agency and need an independent, highly skilled technical contractor to take over the day-to-day maintenance, optimization, and expansion of this new site. We already have a dedicated SEO strategist and Google Ads manager; your role is to be the hands-on technical executor who keeps the code healthy and builds the infrastructure they need to succeed.

You will not need to build a marketing team or dictate high-level strategy. We need someone who can jump into the codebase, execute A/B tests, build landing pages, and translate "AI website terminology" into deployed code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Headless CMS Management: Act as the primary technical owner of our Sanity CMS and Vercel hosting environment.
• Landing Page & A/B Testing Execution: Build custom, high-converting landing pages within Sanity to support our Google Ads campaigns, and implement rapid A/B testing frameworks.
• Marketing Ops Integration: Ensure all website lead forms maintain flawless data syncing with our Salesforce CRM, including preserving GCLID tracking parameters.
• Client Enablement: Ensure the Sanity backend is configured in a way that allows our internal, non-technical team members to easily update basic text and images.

Requirements:

• Must-Have Tech Stack: Deep, hands-on engineering experience with Astro, Sanity CMS, and Vercel. (If you do not have production experience with Astro and Sanity, please do not apply).
• Self-Motivated "Doer": You require minimal hand-holding. You are comfortable taking a strategic request (e.g., "We need to test a new hero image for EV leases") and independently deploying it.
• AI & SEO Fluency: You understand modern AI website terminology (LLM scraping, structured data, GEO) and know how to code a site so that AI bots prefer reading it.
• Marketing Context: You understand how front-end code impacts marketing (page speed, Google Ads tracking, conversion rate optimization).
