About Us
We're building a meditation training experience based on our own academic research, designed to help people build lasting resilience through science-backed methods and real-time biosignal feedback.
Our co-founder is a Neuroscience professor, with world renowned research on stress biology and meditation. We've raised a few million so far.
About the Work
We're preparing to go-to-market with a brand new product and need help honing in on the right target audience. We're looking for a Fractional Marketing Lead to validate our ICPs, and build the marketing foundation that drives our initial growth.
Specifically, you'll:
- Develop the strategy that identifies and validates the ICPs we should be going after initially
- Run top-of-funnel growth experiments targeting those ICPs. Likely channels include:
- Organic social
- SEO / AEO
- Earned media - our co-founder is a thought leader and published neuroscientist
- Influencer
- Email
- Managing a monthly marketing budget of ~$8K (including your retainer)
- Set up a lightweight analytics foundation so we can measure success across channels
- Map and optimize the user funnel from acquisition through retention
- Work most closely with our CEO
About You
You MUST have:
- Led marketing for consumer tech products that you've grown from 0 - 1. You've built audiences and acquired users from zero.
- Organic marketing expertise, scrappy, with low budgets, across SEO, social, email, etc.
- Earned media expertise and can point to examples
- Highly data-driven, comfortable setting up our analytics stack and making decisions based on your analysis
- Hands-on, execution focused
- If you're not capable of doing the execution work yourself, we're not the right fit
- Experience translating complex, even scientific, subject matters into approachable consumer-facing content
- Based in the USA or Canada only
Nice-to-haves:
- Consumer mobile expertise driving app downloads
- A strong personal interest in the wellness, fitness, mental health, or bio-hacking spaces
