We're a supplements company founded by functional medicine physician, Amy Myers, MD.
AMMD by Amy Myers, MD offers products and protocols formulated for bioavailability to heal various conditions (e.g., gut & autoimmune), support women’s health, and promote general wellness. After rebranding our products/website and restructuring the company in 2025, AMMD is positioned to scale profitably, and we need an analytical marketing leader to drive our next phase of growth.
The Role
You'll own the marketing strategy + P&L, managing a lean 4-person team and $2M annual spend across paid ads, social media, and affiliate channels. Your primary mandate: grow revenue 20% while maintaining strong unit economics (AOV $90+) and profitability.
What You'll Do
- Build and deliver a customer acquisition strategy
- Oversee relationships with external agencies
- Determine optimal budget allocation across existing channels and identify new growth opportunities (e.g., TikTok Shop)
- Develop CRO test roadmap to improve conversion rates and customer lifetime value
- Lead. mentor and scale the marketing team, currently consisting of a Brand Manager, Growth Marketer, Marketing Manager, and Marketing Intern
- Make the call on when to scale, when to optimize, and when to cut
- Develop team capabilities, connecting creative skill to measurable & reported business outcomes
Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years in performance marketing with proven track record improving unit economics
- Strong analytical capabilities - you can build models, analyze cohorts, and make data-driven resource allocation decisions
- Agency management experience - you know how to get the best from vendors while maintaining accountability
- P&L ownership mentality - you think in contribution margin, not just revenue
- DTC experience, preferably with: supplements, DSHEA-compliance and subscription models
- Comfortable operating in lean, high-accountability environments
