About Us
We are building the Strava for general aviation enthusiasts. We help pilots and student pilots track their progress, learn, and connect with each other.
Started and funded by two pilots, we'll be coming out of private beta in July.
About the Work
We want to hit the ground running post-launch with a marketing effort that will reach our audience, quickly. We're looking for a Fractional Growth Marketing Lead to define the strategy that will acquire our initial userbase, and do the execution work too.
Specifically, you'll:
- Develop a marketing strategy that targets the general aviation community (pilots and student pilots). We're thinking:
- Organic social
- Influencer
- Community building
- Maybe paid social?
- You tell us what else...
- Penetrate the thriving aviation Facebook communities (and/or start our own)
- Identify and engage key connectors and influencers, especially popular flight instructors
- Completely own our user acquisition and retention metrics
About You
You MUST have:
- An interest and enthusiasm for the aviation world
- Led growth marketing for other B2C products, ideally social apps
- Significant expertise with zero and low budget marketing strategies
- Organic social
- Influencer
- Community building
- Based in the USA or Canada only
