Civic Shout is a purpose-built ad platform whose mission is to help progressively aligned causes, publishers, and brands grow and do more good. At our core, we’re an email-based media company with one of the most engaged progressive audiences in the U.S. We help many of the biggest progressive causes in the US like Greenpeace, Human Rights Campaign, and Amnesty Intl. grow their opt-in email lists and drive traffic without all the uncertainty that comes with Meta or Google ads. And it’s working: 8 out of 10 partners are repeat buyers, and many will buy all the leads and traffic we can provide.

Where we’re at
In less than five years, we’ve become the leading fixed-cost platform for progressive nonprofits and causes, largely through word of mouth and industry newsletter sponsorships. We have proven products, strong customer results, and a growing library of case studies, testimonials, and B2B content.

Where we’re going
We want to grow further in our core nonprofit market while expanding into publishers and socially responsible brands. We’re building a deliberate outbound GTM system to identify high-value prospects, then reinforce that outreach with paid media. You’ll work closely with leadership and sales to turn that strategy into campaigns that ship, perform, and improve over time.

What you’ll do
The role has two main areas of responsibility. B2B growth marketing is the primary focus.
- Grow Civic Shout’s B2B business
- Run retargeting and paid-media air cover across Meta and LinkedIn for targeted and existing partners
- Build and refresh creative for high-value prospects
- Manage the marketing calendar
- Turn case studies, Civic Shout Newsletter posts and newsworthy moments into marketing assets
- Test messaging, offers, creative, and landing pages
- Coordinate closely with outbound and sales
- Watch performance and tell us what is and isn’t resonating and why
- Grow our activist audience
- Own our petition-based acquisition campaigns on Meta (i.e. help us acquire subscribers for our own newsletter network)
- Launch our best performing petitions as ads and optimize audiences and creative
- Keep acquisition costs low while reaching new activists who aren’t yet in our network
- Monitor performance and scale what works
- Own the numbers

We’ll care most about:
- B2B campaign performance (revenue from new and existing partners)
- Activist campaign performance (CPL and new-to-list percentage)

You’re a fit if:
- You have strong B2B growth marketing experience
- You are very strong with Meta Ads and understand audiences, retargeting, creative testing, conversion tracking, and optimization
- You stay current with what’s happening in the world of Meta ads
- You understand what makes paid creative work and can develop strong ad concepts
- You have strong instincts for messaging, offers, and persuasive short-form copy
- You know how to turn customer proof, content, and raw ideas into campaigns
- You’re analytical and comfortable using performance data to decide what to change, stop, or scale
- You move quickly and are comfortable owning execution
- You’re passionate about helping progressive causes do good
