Role Overview
Bébé Foodie is looking for a fractional Digital Marketing Manager to own our marketing analytics, dashboards, and performance insights – across website, app, email, SEO, organic and paid channels, and other marketing campaigns.
This role exists to help us identify where our marketing efforts deliver the highest return – and where they don’t – so we can allocate future resources intelligently.
You will build and maintain the systems that allow our leadership team to make confident, data-backed decisions across all of our marketing channels.
Core Responsibilities
1. Marketing Tracking Infrastructure
Own the setup and maintenance of our marketing measurement stack, including:
- Proper configuration of Google Analytics (and related tools)
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across website, app, CRM, SEO, and (future) paid channels.
Reliable tracking of:
- Website traffic and conversion paths
- Website / Email → App download conversion
- App downloads (with source and campaign detail where possible)
- Email performance (open, click, and downstream conversion)
2. Dashboards & Full Funnel Reporting
Build and maintain a single, shared baseline dashboard that reflects marketing performance end-to-end, including:
- Website
- App acquisition
- CRM / Email
- SEO
- Organic media
- Paid ads (future)
Ensure reporting is:
- Clear and decision-oriented
- Trusted by leadership as the canonical view
- Reviewed at least monthly with key stakeholders, and more regularly with direct team
Proactively surface trends, anomalies, waste, and opportunity signals.
3. Baseline Metrics & Benchmarks
Define, document, and maintain core marketing benchmarks, including:
- Monthly app downloads and conversions
- Website-to-download conversion rate
- Email engagement benchmarks (open, click, conversion)
- SEO performance (e.g., organic traffic, top-performing pages)
- (Future) Paid media efficiency benchmarks (e.g., CPA, CAC, LTV, where applicable)
These baselines will be used to:
- Identify leading indicators of success and failure
- Evaluate new initiatives
- Compare channels and campaigns
- Guide future spend decisions
4. SEO Performance & Opportunity Identification
Own the measurement and prioritization of SEO / AIO. Establish baseline visibility for organic search traffic.
Identify:
- High-performing pages and content themes
- Underperforming or decaying content
- High-intent keywords or topics worth investing in
Connect SEO performance to:
- App downloads
- Email capture
- Conversion behavior
Make clear recommendations on SEO / AIO effort.
Interface with the content creation team to prioritize high impact SEO / AIO areas.
5. Organic & Paid Media Performance Analysis
Provide analytical ownership and strategic guidance across organic and paid efforts:
- Track and evaluate performance of:
- Organic social and partnership-driven traffic
- Paid acquisition experiments (when active)
Identify:
- Early signal of channel viability
- Cost efficiency and diminishing returns
- Funnel leakage points
Recommend:
- Where to test paid spend
- Where to pause or cap investment
- Which organic efforts merit amplification
6. Insight → Recommendation
Beyond reporting, we want your help making judgement calls on the highest impact areas to spend our limited time and resources in growing Bébé Foodie’s audience and user base!
You will:
- Analyze channel-level and campaign-level performance
- Identify where marginal effort is producing outsized returns
- Flag diminishing returns early
- Make clear recommendations on where to double down, pause, or test next
What Success Looks Like (First 45 Days)
