Lovely Flowers is a high-volume floral operator with locations in Houston and Dallas. We are seeking an independent Fractional CTO for a paid two-week diagnostic.
The objective is to define a focused operating platform connecting order intake, production, photo quality control, dispatch, delivery, and customer notifications.
Engagement details:
- 25-40 total hours over ten business days.
- Fixed project fee of $5,000-$8,000.
- Operational observation in Houston and Dallas.
- This initial phase does not include production software development.
- No equity will be granted during this phase.
- No development contract is guaranteed after the diagnostic.
Required experience:
- Zero-to-one product development.
- Marketplaces or multi-sided platforms.
- Order-management systems.
- E-commerce operations.
- Logistics, dispatch, or last-mile delivery.
- Multi-location business operations.
- Working with nontechnical founders.
The selected candidate must be vendor-neutral, accept confidentiality and intellectual-property assignment terms, and complete all work through company-controlled accounts.
Expected deliverables include:
- Current operational workflow.
- Pain-point and risk analysis.
- Focused MVP scope.
- Key workflow prototype.
- Technical options and preliminary budget.
- Proceed, revise, or stop recommendation.
