Our primary focus with BotHQ-AI is on three types of service businesses:
- Emergency home services (e.g., plumbers, HVAC repair, water damage/restoration, locksmiths, towing) where missed calls mean lost jobs.
- Non-emergency, high-ticket home services (e.g., roofing, remodeling, solar, foundation repair, windows/siding) where speed-to-response and consistent follow-up dramatically impact close rates.
- Salons, med spas, and personal care studios where missed calls and after-hours messages often translate directly into lost bookings.
BotHQ-AI helps these businesses capture, respond to, and follow up with leads across phone, SMS, and web—24/7.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Fractional CMO to own marketing strategy and growth for BotHQ-AI, our flagship product. You’ll work directly with the founders to clarify our positioning in these service verticals, build repeatable acquisition and nurture motions, and turn clear ROI stories (“this is revenue you would have missed”) into compelling, scalable campaigns.
This is a part-time, fully remote contractor role. It’s ideal for an experienced marketing leader who wants meaningful ownership, flexibility, and the chance to shape the go-to-market for an AI platform serving real-world local businesses.
What You’ll Do
- Own go-to-market for BotHQ-AI across emergency home services, high-ticket home services, and salons/med spas.
- Define ICPs, segments, and buying journeys within those categories, and turn them into clear positioning, messaging, and offers.
- Design and run demand generation programs across content, email, paid search/social, outbound, and partnerships—focused on inbound lead capture and speed-to-lead stories.
- Build a measurable funnel from first touch to closed customer, with visibility into:
- Lead volume and quality
- Conversion rates at each stage
- Revenue influenced by marketing
- Own and continuously refine key metrics such as CAC, LTV/CAC, and payback period, and communicate results and tradeoffs to the leadership team.
- Create and package ROI narratives for our target verticals (e.g., appointments saved, jobs captured outside business hours, recovered marketing spend).
- Partner closely with founders and sales to align on ICP, qualification criteria, lead routing, and SLAs.
- Turn customer outcomes into case studies, testimonials, and playbooks tailored to each segment.
- Coordinate and direct designers, writers, and other contractors as needed to execute the strategy, while keeping the plan focused on a few high-leverage initiatives instead of scattered tactics.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of professional marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role (Head of Marketing, VP Marketing, CMO, or similar).
- A proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue, particularly for B2B software or tech-enabled services.
- Strong background in demand generation and lifecycle marketing, including multi-touch campaigns, nurturing, and reactivation.
- Hands-on familiarity with:
- CRM and marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, or similar)
- Analytics and reporting (GA4, dashboards, attribution, cohort views)
- Reviewing and giving direction on landing pages, emails, and ad creatives.
- Proficiency with professional level video and image editing software
Nice to Have
- Experience bringing AI-powered or automation products to market.
- Prior fractional/consulting CMO experience with small to mid-size service businesses.
- Familiarity with the tools and ecosystems our customers already use (CRMs, booking systems, VoIP, etc.).
- Comfort joining occasional customer or partner calls to support sales, onboarding, or co-marketing.
Compensation & Structure
- Rate: $100/hour (part-time, contractor).
- Engagement: Flexible weekly hours; we’ll agree on an expected range and milestones together.
- Upside: Performance-based options contracts that provide a meaningful stake in the company’s success, tied to clear growth and revenue milestones.
