Staylist is building the future of hospitality tech. Originally focused on RV parks, we are now expanding rapidly into hotels, vacation rentals, and beyond. Our Intelligent Hospitality System brings together Property Management, Point of Sale, Revenue Management, Call Intelligence, and more in one unified platform built with AI at its core.
We are in hyper growth mode and need a Fractional CFO who can partner with our executive team to drive disciplined, data-driven growth and scale our financial strategy, metrics, and decision-making foundation. We are seeking a growth-centric CFO with deep SaaS experience to join our leadership team. This is not a back-office role. The right candidate will be a peer to the CEO, COO, CTO, CRO, and CMO, and a daily partner to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will own FP&A, SaaS metrics, and financial strategy while helping shape fundraising strategy, pricing, packaging, and GTM execution.
You will help us scale from millions in ARR toward our next growth stage with a capital-efficient strategy, strong unit economics, and investor-ready discipline.
What You’ll Do
- Build and run FP&A: deliver a working financial model, reporting pack, and monthly operating cadence within your first 90 days.
- Drive SaaS unit economics: track and communicate LTV, CAC, CAC payback, NRR, and other relevant SaaS metrics against benchmarks to guide growth strategy.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and CS: build ROI models that connect GTM spend to CAC payback, retention, and pipeline efficiency.
- Support fundraising strategy: Prepare materials, shape investor storylines, and guide capital planning when timing is right.
- Guide Accounting: Architect our SaaS chart of accounts and metric dictionary so reporting maps directly to actionable insights.
- Instill financial discipline and accountability: Partner with COO to hold the executive team accountable to budgets and key performance targets.
Who We’re Looking For
- SaaS Finance Leader: Proven success as a CFO or fractional CFO supporting 5–100M ARR SaaS companies, with ownership of FP&A and financial strategy.
- FP&A Builder: Hands-on operator with the ability to stand up models, dashboards, and reporting cadence quickly. We are open to fCFO and analyst teams staffed by you.
- SaaS Metrics Expert: Deep command of SaaS benchmarks and unit economics, using LTV, CAC, CAC payback, and NRR to guide capital efficiency and improve retention and payback performance.
- GTM Partner: Collaborates naturally with the GTM leadership team to turn financial data into actionable sales, marketing, and customer success strategies.
- Fundraising Ready: Experienced preparing materials, managing diligence, and navigating various funding paths including venture capital, private equity, friends and family, revenue-based financing, debt, and other non-dilutive capital sources.
- System Thinker: Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition, chart of accounts design, and automation tools. Deep expertise in pricing modeling and how it impacts revenue, as well as the nuances of different types of SaaS revenue streams.
- Hyper-Growth Mindset: Thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. Balances strategic finance leadership with a willingness to roll up sleeves and move quickly.
- Hospitality SaaS Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with hospitality or property management SaaS companies and USALI, bringing an understanding of operator workflows, revenue patterns, and customer needs.
