Position Overview
Ps2g is a 25-year IT consulting firm specializing in Cybersecurity, Data Management, Predictive Analytics, Cloud, CRM, and Enterprise Content Management. We partner with both public and private sector clients nationwide, including major utilities, healthcare organizations, and government agencies.
Ps2g is seeking an experienced Fractional CFO to provide high-level financial leadership and oversight on a part-time basis. The CFO will collaborate closely with Ps2g’s Comptroller and senior leadership team to strengthen fiscal management, ensure compliance, and support the company’s strategic growth objectives.
Part-time (Approx. 7.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and accounting accuracy
- Support and optimize the company’s accounting system (Deltek Costpoint)
- Manage ADP payroll processing and compliance
- Ensure proper documentation for monthly bank reconciliations
- Oversee audit preparation and tax compliance activities
- Manage catch-up accounting and corrective reconciliations
- Conduct cash flow forecasting and financial modeling
- Implement and monitor cost accounting practices to improve margin visibility
- Drive financial analysis, budgeting, and KPI tracking to inform executive decisions
- Support capital raise initiatives and investor reporting as needed
- Provide oversight on system implementations related to finance and accounting
- Deliver periodic forecasts, dashboards, and financial insights to guide leadership
Requirements
- Licensed CPA in good standing (required)
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including CFO or senior controller roles
- Strong working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and ADP payroll systems
- Proven ability to perform reconciliations, manage financial close cycles, and deliver executive-level reporting
- Deep expertise in audit/tax prep, compliance reporting, and cost accounting
- Strong experience in cash flow forecasting, KPIs, and capital raise support
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience in professional services, IT consulting, or government contracting strongly preferred
Time Commitment
~7.5 hours per week (flexible scheduling to accommodate both company needs and candidate availability)
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
