The Company
We’re building a platform that helps clinics and digital health startups connect their patients to a wide range of longevity-focused healthcare interventions. We aim to be the picks and shovels for the personalized health boom.
Stage & proof points:
- Raised a pre-seed, targeting the next fundraise before the end of the year
- Product is live and generating revenue
The Work
We want to add velocity to our small engineering team. The role will start out as a contractor, and if it converts into a full-time role then great, but not required.
Specifically, you'll:
- Work on problem areas, like:
- Our product, including a new pharmacy-facing portal
- Scaling our data integration capacity, including the catalogs, pricing, orders, etc. from different sources that need to be normalized
- Automating a host of manual operations with AI-assisted workflows
- Own backend and frontend for your work
- Join us for 9:30am PT standup (at least on the days you're working)
- Work closely with our CTO, two full-time engineers, and one engineering contractor (also hired through Fractional Jobs)
Tech stack:
- React / Nextjs (Typescript)
- Node / Nestjs (Typescript)
- Python (for data pipeline)
- Vercel
- Postgres
- GCP
- Docker
- Claude
About You
You MUST have:
- Been a senior or staff engineer at other early-stage, venture-backed tech startups
- Highly comfortable with our core tech stack above
- Backend should be your primary expertise
- Must be comfortable on the frontend too
- Based in the SF Bay Area only
Nice-to-haves:
- Healthtech experience
- Interest in health, wellness, and longevity (think Huberman, Bryan Johnson, Attia, etc.)
- Great frontend/product/design sense
