Fractional Senior Engineer / Tech Lead — Multi-Agent AI System for Mineral Acquisition
I'm building an autonomous mineral royalty acquisition engine targeting the Permian and Delaware basins, and I'm looking for one senior engineer to lead the build alongside me.
The system is a five-agent platform — Scout, Title, Valuation, Outreach, Execution — running document understanding (chain-of-title reasoning over scanned and handwritten deeds), pre-pooling target identification, NPV-based valuation, and end-to-end deal execution from offer letter through e-recording. ~50 closings/month at full run-rate. Self-hosted on Apple Silicon, hybrid architecture (open-source models for volume work, Claude for the hardest reasoning), full IP retention by my entity.
I have a 50-page implementation guide. I'm the architect and product owner. What I need is execution.
Engagement: ~20 hrs/week for 24 weeks, $200–250/hr, fully remote. Looking for someone with real production experience shipping multi-agent systems — bonus points for document-extraction pipelines, agent orchestration frameworks, or O&G/legal-tech background. Ex-Anthropic, ex-Palantir, ex-Hugging Face, or strong indie senior engineers welcome.
This is a real paying engagement with a path to a longer relationship across a second domain (geothermal AI co-pilot). Spec available under MNDA.
