With a team of 12, we're on track to hit 8-figures ARR in 2026, growing triple digits year-over-year.

About the Work

Our outbound sales motion is working, but it lacks structure, measurement, and process. We're looking for a Fractional Sales Operations Leader to create the data-focused operational foundation for our sales function.

Specifically, you'll:

  • Build and own our sales reporting infrastructure, so leadership has a clear weekly view of pipeline health, outbound performance, and conversion metrics
  • Diagnose issues in our cold email infrastructure (e.g., deliverability problems, response rate drops) and implement fixes
  • Design and run A/B tests on messaging, sequences, and targeting to see what sticks
  • Manage and mentor our one SDR
  • Improve our software tooling
    • Migrate us to a proper CRM
    • Help us adopt modern AI tools into our sales process
  • Work most closely with our CEO and Head of Research, who together own the sales process

We're looking for someone for 10 - 20 hours per week (we're not quite sure how much effort this will take). We're open to the hourly rate compensation structure listed above, and/or an equivalent monthly retainer with a commission component too.

Sales stats:

  • Avg deal sizes from $50K - $250K / year
  • 1 - 6 month sales cycles depending on org size

About You

You MUST have:

  • Owned Sales Ops / RevOps for other early-stage B2B SaaS startups
  • Built the Sales Ops function from scratch for other startups
    • If your experience is only at large enterprise companies, we won't be a fit
  • Exposure to mid-market and enterprise customers, with deal sizes from $50K - $1MM+
  • Plenty of hands-on work with cold email and Linkedin DMs
    • Deliverability issues, sender reputation, inbox rotation, etc. is familiar territory
  • A deeply data-driven focus, and have built measurement and reporting infrastructure

Some nice-to-haves:

  • Experience selling into buyers that sit within the marketing org (CMOs, consumer insights teams, etc.)
  • Any background in marketing or consumer insights
