About Us
We’re building an enterprise data platform for manufacturing and industrial IoT companies. We help manufacturers collect, organize, and use their operational data so they can run analytics and AI without building the infrastructure themselves.
We have a paid enterprise pilot underway with a five-figure contract, and are looking to expand to additional pilots.
About the Work
With a solo technical founder, it's been challenging to figure out the right way to bring our product to market and secure pilot customers. We're looking for a Fractional GTM Lead that can build the right go-to-market strategy for us so we can get in front of customers, learn from them, and ultimately close deals.
Specifically, you'll:
- Define our ideal customer profile within manufacturing and industrial IoT
- Develop the strategy that gets conversations started with the right enterprise customers, and ultimately new pilots
- Own the outbound motion from end-to-end
- Create the necessary sales collateral, and shape positioning, messaging, and pricing
- Inform product development based on customer feedback and sales learnings
- Work closely with the founder as a thought partner and a sales coach. You'll be the expert in the room that helps us get initial adoption.
About You
You MUST have:
- Led GTM and Sales efforts selling software into enterprise-size customers in any of:
- Traditional manufacturing (e.g. asphalt, paper, automotive, heavy industry)
- Modern manufacturing and industrial technology (e.g. industrial IoT, smart factories, connected devices, Industry 4.0 platforms)
- Built the GTM motion from scratch, closing the initial customers, for other early-stage tech startups
- An interest in being hands-on, doing the outbound work yourself
- A strong sense for how to elevate and coach a technical founder on the sales process
Some nice-to-haves:
- Have sold data, analytics, or infrastructure products
