The Company
We're building computer vision that automatically measures every garment at each step of the apparel manufacturing process.
Stage & proof points:
- Technical founder, a data engineer with deep manufacturing expertise
- One pilot customer already closed, with more on the way
The Work
We're looking for a Fractional ML Engineer to own and improve our custom models that detect measurement points on different garments from images from the factory line.
Specifically, you'll:
- Review our current models, built by our founder, and either improve or re-write them as needed
- Figure out the most effective way to detect 20 to 30 measurement points per garment, and improve our detection accuracy
- Extend the models to new garment types as we add them
- Work with image camera data today, with video on the roadmap
- Work most closely with our founder
Tech stack:
- Python
- Databricks
About You
You MUST have:
- Senior or staff-level ML engineering experience
- Trained and improved computer vision models on image data
- Owned ML work end to end on your own in Python, from data prep through training and evaluation
- Physically located in Canada only
