About Us
We're building an NFC-based technology that gets physically embedded into luxury assets like artwork, wine, and fashion pieces. Our tags stay with an asset for its entire life, enabling tap-to-pay purchasing, resale royalty collection, authentication, and provenance.
The product is already live, and we're just getting our go-to-market motion started. We've held several exhibitions recently and a handful of artists already embedding our chips into their work.
About the Work
We need help figuring out the best way to grow our business beyond our founder’s network and current artist clients. We're looking for a fractional Head of GTM to design and test new ways to bring our technology to luxury asset markets like fashion and wine, in addition to the art world.
Specifically, you'll:
- Identify and prioritize the highest-potential customer verticals for us (art, fashion, wine, licensing, etc.)
- Design and run GTM experiments across those verticals to find what works
- Reach out to potential clients, partners, and brands in the luxury asset space
- Own those relationships too, after the sale is closed
- Represent the company in rooms with collectors, luxury brands, and industry players
- Help us develop the right business model for different customer types
- Evaluate opportunities for licensing our technology and IP to other businesses (e.g. manufacturers)
We're open to candidates that are 1) more senior, can guide us strategically and open doors for us, or 2) more hands-on, running a bunch of different experiments end-to-end.
In addition to the monthly retainer, we can also discuss commission and equity as well.
About You
You MUST have:
- Significant GTM, Biz Dev, and/or Sales experience within early-stage companies where the ideal customer is not yet known
- Deep luxury market experience, including art, fashion, wine, watches, handbags, classic cars, and more
- A network within some niche of the luxury space, can develop new relationships easily, and represent us well at relevant events
- A history of running frequent experiments across Sales and Marketing channels to find initial traction (and revenue)
- Based in North America or Europe only
Some nice-to-haves:
- Experience in supply chain or manufacturing for fashion or luxury goods
- Experience with licensing agreements, hardware, and patents
