The Company
Description: We're an SMS-based AI that matches people for professional or personal connections. Our first product is focused on professional networking, and our second product will be focused on dating.
Stage & proof points:
- The founder is the former founder/CEO of one of the most successful dating apps in history
- An alpha in market with hundreds of users so far
The Work Needed
Problem: We just launched the alpha for our professional matchmaking product, but don't yet know who our first ICP is, or how to reach them.
Specifically, you'll:
- Help us determine which cohorts to target first (e.g. founders, executives, early career folks, etc.)
- Build our growth strategy, and run experiments across:
- organic channels like Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok
- influencer partnerships
- community partnerships
- Hone our value prop and messaging
- Work with Product to build virality and referral into the product itself, and to inform the onboarding and retention experience
- This is a product-led growth bet, not a paid-acquisition one
- Either become our full-time growth lead, or help us make the right full-time hire at the right time
About You
You MUST have:
- Led Growth for other consumer tech startups in the following categories:
- consumer social
- consumer mobile
- dating
- consumer marketplaces (ideally mobile)
- personal / professional networking
- community platforms
- Significant 0 - 1 experience, where you're successfully acquired the initial userbase
- Plenty of organic social experience (not paid media) on channels like Reddit, Tiktok, Linkedin
- Fluent with the latest AI tools to help you automate the work
- Interested and capable of being hands-on owning the execution yourself
