About Us
We provide supportive services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including early childhood intervention and transition programs for young adults.
We're based in Austin, TX (with offices in DFW too), have 125 employees, and are generating $10MM revenue through government contracts and medicare/insurance reimbursements.
About the Work
With our current Executive Director leaving, we're facing a leadership gap, particularly within operations. We're looking for a Fractional or Interim Executive Director to keep the organization running smoothly, with a focus on internal operations and our financial health.
Specifically, you'll:
- Audit the current state of operations and identify key issues
- Develop and recommend a prioritized action plan to address operational gaps
- Assess our financial health and identify areas for improvement
- Oversee day-to-day management of our programs serving Texas individuals with intellectual and development disabilities
- Oversee hiring for our open roles (all Operations)
- Work closely with the CEO of the parent organization, the nonprofit board, and the rest of the leadership team
About You
You MUST have:
- Been an Executive Director or Operations leader for other nonprofits
- Experience working with nonprofits that specifically provide services to people (not professional associations, etc.)
- Managed budgets of $10MM or more
- Obtained and/or managed government contracts
- Strong operations and finance background
- Based within driving distance of either Austin or Dallas, Texas

- Experience with individuals with intellectual and development disabilities
