Director of Operations

Didi, Interiors + Architecture is a full-service design studio based in Needham, MA, specializing in high-end residential architecture, interiors, and project management. We’re a creative, fast-growing firm looking for an experienced Fractional Director of Operations / Studio Director to work closely with our Principal, Lulu Friedman, and help shape the next chapter of our business.

This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in small, growing businesses who loves bringing order, clarity, and strategy to creative environments.

You’ll help strengthen our operations, implement systems that improve workflow, oversee team progress, manage new client inquiries and onboarding, and work side-by-side with leadership to create strategies for growth and efficiency.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and thoughtful professional who thrives on improving systems, creating structure, and helping a team work better together. Someone who enjoys both day-to-day organization and long-term strategy.

Key Traits

• Strong background in operations or management (preferably in design, architecture, or another creative field)
• Experience developing systems, processes, and growth strategies for small teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A natural leader who is calm, clear, and solutions-oriented

Schedule & Details

• On-site in our Needham, MA studio
• Fractional (approx. 20–25 hours/week) with potential to grow into full-time as the business expands
• Compensation: depending on experience
