We're looking for an experienced operator who enjoys building businesses, creating systems, and developing leaders.
About the Role
This is not a traditional executive position.
We're looking for someone who has successfully helped a founder-led service business scale. You'll work directly with the founder to build the operational systems, organizational structure, and management processes that will support our next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on consulting role focused on designing a business that can scale efficiently without sacrificing quality.

- Evaluate our current organizational structure
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, and reporting relationships
- Improve accountability across the organization
- Build KPIs and scorecards for each department
- Create repeatable systems and standard operating procedures
- Develop management processes and meeting rhythms
- Improve communication between departments
- Coach managers and help develop future leaders
- Recommend organizational changes that improve scalability
- Build an operational foundation capable of supporting significant future growth
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has successfully scaled a service business and understands how to build organizations that don't depend on the founder making every decision.
We value practical experience over titles.
Experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred:
- Tutoring or education
- Professional services
- Healthcare practices
- Agencies
- Franchise operations
- Membership or recurring-service businesses
- Customer success organizations
Preferred Experience
- Helped grow a company from approximately 20 to 100+ employees
- Built management structures and leadership teams
- Designed operational processes and SOPs
- Created KPI dashboards and performance metrics
- Managed remote or distributed teams
- Improved organizational efficiency during periods of rapid growth
What Success Looks Like
A successful engagement will leave us with:
- A clear organizational structure
- Well-defined ownership for every major responsibility
- Strong operational systems that can be repeated as we grow
- Managers who understand expectations and accountability
- Consistent processes across departments
- A business that is positioned to scale while maintaining a high standard of service
Application Instructions
Please include:
- A brief summary of the organizations you've helped scale.
- The operational improvements you personally led.
- Industries you've worked in.
- One example of a business that became significantly more efficient because of your work.
- Your LinkedIn profile or résumé.
Short Response (Required)
Please answer the following in 500 words or less:
Imagine you inherit a founder-led tutoring company with approximately 250 active students and a growing team. The founder is involved in too many day-to-day operational decisions and wants to build an organization capable of supporting 1,000 students while maintaining excellent customer service. What would be your priorities during your first 90 days, and why?
We're looking for practical thinking, not textbook answers.
Pay: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
Work Location: Remote
