Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing efforts. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing leader who can bring their expertise to build and scale our marketing department from the ground up. As the fractional CMO, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to generate leads, drive growth, and enhance our market presence. This position has the potential to transition to a full-time role as the marketing department matures and delivers significant business impact.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with PosiTrace’s business objectives.
- Define and execute marketing plans to generate leads and drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Brand Management:
- Enhance and manage the PosiTrace brand to ensure a consistent and compelling market presence.
- Develop and oversee marketing communications, including content, PR, and social media strategies.
- Demand Generation:
- Design and execute lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and events.
- Optimize marketing campaigns to improve conversion rates and lower customer acquisition costs.
- Team Building and Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, including hiring and developing talent.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative marketing culture.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
- Collaboration with Sales:
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and support the sales pipeline.
- Develop and implement effective sales enablement materials and strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CMO or similar senior marketing role in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth.
- Experience with brand management, lead generation, digital marketing, and content marketing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with the fleet management industry is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
