CX Group is the parent company of Second To None (www.second-to-none.com) and BestMark (www.bestmark.com), two of North America's most respected customer experience and mystery shopping organizations. For nearly four decades, we've partnered with leading multi-location brands to improve customer experience, operational consistency, and business performance through human-powered insights, advanced analytics, and innovative technology.
We're entering an exciting new phase of growth and are seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Growth Officer (Head of Growth) to partner directly with our CEO and executive leadership team.
This is a strategic executive leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building growth systems, aligning commercial teams, and helping organizations win larger, more valuable enterprise clients.
This is not a traditional marketing position.
The Opportunity
Our goal is straightforward: build a disciplined, scalable growth engine that consistently generates qualified enterprise opportunities and supports long-term, profitable growth.
You'll help shape company strategy while leading an integrated commercial growth program spanning demand generation, brand positioning, RevOps, content, sales enablement, analytics, and account-based marketing.
Success will be measured by meaningful business outcomes, including:
- Enterprise pipeline growth
- New enterprise client acquisition
- Higher average contract value
- Increased portfolio diversification
- Marketing ROI and revenue attribution
- Strong alignment between marketing, sales, and operations
What You'll Lead
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will:
- Develop and execute the company's overall growth strategy.
- Build a predictable enterprise demand generation engine.
- Align marketing, sales, RevOps, and executive leadership around shared growth priorities.
- Manage and coordinate a network of specialized external partners across SEO, paid media, ABM, content, social media, CRM, and RevOps.
- Strengthen positioning and messaging across our brands.
- Support complex enterprise buying journeys with compelling sales enablement and digital sales experiences.
- Oversee HubSpot strategy, reporting, attribution, and pipeline analytics.
- Establish executive dashboards and KPIs that connect marketing investment to business performance.
- Continuously evaluate growth investments based on measurable ROI.
- Improve customer acquisition efficiency while supporting expansion within existing client relationships.
What Success Looks Like
Within approximately two years, you'll have helped establish:
- A predictable enterprise growth engine.
- Meaningful growth in qualified enterprise opportunities.
- A more diversified client portfolio through strategic new account acquisition.
- Fully integrated growth operations across marketing, RevOps, sales enablement, and analytics.
- Executive reporting that provides clear visibility into pipeline performance and marketing effectiveness.
- Scalable commercial processes that support continued long-term growth.
Who You Are
You're a strategic growth executive who understands that sustainable enterprise growth comes from aligning strategy, people, technology, and execution.
You bring experience leading commercial growth initiatives and know how to build systems that consistently produce results.
Ideal qualifications include:
- 10+ years leading B2B growth organizations.
- Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise organizations.
- Demonstrated success building predictable demand generation programs.
- Strong expertise in HubSpot, CRM strategy, RevOps, attribution, and pipeline management.
- Experience with Account-Based Marketing and complex enterprise buying committees.
- Proven ability to lead agencies and external partners while maintaining strategic direction.
- Strong analytical, financial, and commercial decision-making skills.
- Outstanding executive communication and presentation abilities.
- Comfortable collaborating directly with CEOs and executive leadership teams.
Experience in professional services, SaaS, customer experience, analytics, market research, consulting, or related industries is highly valued.
How We Operate
We believe in assembling the best expertise for each discipline rather than building a large internal marketing department.
You'll lead a high-performing ecosystem that includes specialized partners supporting paid media, SEO, outbound ABM, RevOps, content marketing, social media, and marketing technology.
Your role is to establish strategy, create alignment, set priorities, measure results, and ensure every initiative contributes to one integrated growth plan.
Engagement
Fractional executive engagement.
Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to expand over time.
Remote within the United States.
Competitive monthly retainer based on experience, expertise, and expected level of engagement.
Why Join CX Group?
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of two established industry leaders with strong reputations, long-standing enterprise relationships, and significant room for growth.
You'll work directly with an engaged CEO and executive leadership team, influence company strategy, and build a modern commercial growth engine designed for sustainable success.
If you're energized by building growth systems, solving complex commercial challenges, and helping great organizations reach their next level, we'd welcome the opportunity to talk with you.
