About Us
We’re a growing chain of 10+ Chicago-area pizza restaurants, and we’re working on a big new idea. We have a new pizza-by-the-slice concept, designed for wholesale, that we think would be perfect for bars & restaurants, hotels, stadiums, etc. Early conversations with potential customers have indicated that they would love a food option but have no kitchen. That’s where we come in!
About the Work
We’re looking for a Fractional VP Sales who can help us validate our new product, generate initial distribution via wholesale channels, and help us expand the offering.
Specifically, you’ll:
- Develop and execute the Sales strategy to get us initial distribution to Chicago-area bars & restaurants, hotels, stadiums, etc.
- Build and grow relationships with large potential clients / partners
- Create the Sales playbook, and potentially hire a junior Sales team to execute the strategy
- Get the necessary marketing materials developed to support the Sales process
We’re thinking of this role starting out at about 10 hrs / week, with total expected compensation up to ~$8K / month, about half of that via commission. We’re open to different compensation options.
About You
You should meet all the following criteria:
- You’ve built Sales strategies for other wholesale F&B brands
- You’ve sold to bars & restaurants, hotels, or other similar types of venues
- You can build a Sales motion from zero, getting your hands dirty as needed to make it happen
- You’re based in the Chicago area (incl. Milwaukee, Cincinnati, etc.)
