We're building a suite of software tools for small businesses in the home improvement industry (think plumbers, landscapers, HVAC, etc.)

We're a Series-B stage startup, with yearly revenue of $25MM+

About the Work

Our current CFO is departing, so we're looking for a Fractional VP Finance to carry the torch forward on our most critical operational needs.

Specifically, you'll:

• Own and improve our entire operating model
  • Our goal is to reach cash-flow breakeven in the next year or so
• Improve our sales commission structure to better incentivize our Sales team
• Prepare the financial reports, decks, and analyses for the exec team and as part of board meeting prep
• Track & own our unit economics metrics
• Run cash reports, ensure accuracy across all our reporting, and supervise closing the monthly books
• Oversee the FP&A, Accounting, and Payments/Fraud teams

About You

You MUST have:

• Held Director, VP, CFO-type titles at growth-stage SaaS startups
• Created operating models for other SaaS businesses
• Overseen commission/incentive structures for Sales teams
• Strong FP&A background
• Can be based anywhere in the USA or Canada

NIce-to-have:

• Vertical SaaS, fintech, or payment processing industry experience, specifically
• Fraud prevention & risk experience
• If you're based in NYC, we'd also be open to the role converting into a full-time role if mutual interest
