Role Description
The Vice President of Business Development is a part-time, remote role responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding Pleio’s partnerships across healthcare, pharmacy, and related sectors. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing business development plans, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers. The Vice President will lead contract discussions and negotiations, oversee the sales pipeline, and collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with partner needs. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing proposals and presentations, supporting account management strategies, and providing market insights to inform Pleio’s long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Sales skills, with a track record of creating and closing growth opportunities.
- Candidates should possess Business Planning skills, including strategic planning, market analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills, including experience structuring agreements and managing terms with partners.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills, with the ability to build, maintain, and grow long-term partner relationships.
- Extensive experience in healthcare, pharmacy, patient support services, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including cross-functional collaboration and executive-level communication.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and decision-making skills, with comfort operating in a data-informed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-evolving market.
