Software Architect

Linkar is a human connection platform designed to bring people together in the real world through rewarding, real-world interaction.

Linkar incentivises people to step into real-world connection by:

• Rewarding real-world participation with points and levels (Sweatcoin-style model)
• Enabling people to discover, invite, and join IRL activities and link-ups via a real-time location map
• Partnering with venues to drive real-world footfall through redeemable offers, on a revenue-share basis

​At its core, Linkar is about behaviour change using gamification and incentives to make real-world connection easier, more frequent, and more rewarding.

​We’re approaching a key Phase 1 delivery window and beginning SEIS-backed investor outreach.

​We’re looking for a Senior Software Architect / Technical Advisor to help shape the technical foundations of this system as we lock Phase 1.

​This is a fractional, advisory role (4–6 hours per month).

​

What you will help with

• Sanity-check architecture for human-centric interaction flows
• Validate Phase 1 vs Phase 2+ scope (focus > feature creep)
• Advise on scalable systems for gamification, rewards, and discovery
• Help design clean data flows across users, spaces, and incentives
• Act as a strategic sounding board for our Founder and CTO

• Not day-to-day development
• Not a venue-listing platform
• Not replacing our CTO

Who this suits

• Someone who has helped build or advise on consumer, social, or behaviour-driven platforms
• Experience moving products from MVP → post-seed → growth
• Comfortable advising asynchronously (Notion / Slack)
• Interested in technology that impacts real human behaviour, not just screens
