We're an early-stage startup at the intersection of education and artificial intelligence.
Our mission is to enhance the capabilities of teachers by leveraging the power of LLMs to create a more engaging and effective learning environment.
Having successfully piloted our alpha version in multiple classrooms with positive feedback, we are now looking to expand our product and grow our business.
About the Work
We're looking for a Fractional Senior ML/AI Engineer to develop and refine our AI-powered tools that support teachers and improve educational outcomes.
We're finishing our MVP this summer in advance of pilot programs launching at schools in the Fall.
Specifically, you'll:
- Develop and refine machine learning models with a focus on LLMs
- Design and implement effective prompting techniques
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform product development
- Design and conduct experiments to test the effectiveness of our AI tools in real classroom settings
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the Engineering and Product teams, including a Fractional CTO
Our tech stack is:
- React
- Python
- AWS, including Bedrock
- Langchain / langserve + Claude
About You
You should meet all the following criteria:
- Plenty of experience deploying ML models with a focus on LLMs
- Prompting expert
- Python expert
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or similar)
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design
