About Us
We're a marketplace for buying and selling small businesses, connecting verified sellers with qualified buyers across the U.S.
We've recently raised a Series A ($15MM total funding), and have close to 30,000 buyers on the platform so far.
About the Work
We have a lot of new surface areas for our product that we're looking to make quicker progress on. We're looking for a Fractional Senior Full-stack Engineer that can help us increase our velocity.
Specifically, you'll:
- Own new features, like:
- An AI advisor for our buyers and sellers
- Updated home page dashboards
- Improvements to our offers flow
- Better expectation setting with owners (e.g. about realistic valuations)
- Lean more frontend-focused, OR full-stack, depending on your skillset and preferences
- A strong focus on E2E and unit testing
- Help the team continue to adopt new AI native coding workflows
- Work closely with a small team of two engineers, a designer, and a Fractional CTO (also hired through Fractional Jobs)
Tech stack:
- React Web
- Typescript
- Chakra UI (component library)
- GraphQL
About You
You MUST have:
- Been a Senior, Lead, or Staff (or above) engineer for other early and growth-stage tech startups
- Strong frontend-specific experience, OR a full-stack generalist, and comfortable with the above tech stack
- Disciplined test-writing skills
- Highly comfortable with the latest AI development workflows, and have used them in a production setting with other team members
- A strong sense for user impact and business outcomes, not just code
- Based in the NYC area only
