We help homeowners understand and manage the health of their homes. Think Prenuvo full-body scan, but for your home. Through our dashboard and AI SMS chatbot, you gain instant access to your home's vital data, proactive maintenance alerts, and expert guidance.
We’ve recently raised a $4MM Seed round from Forerunner & Precursor Ventures. Our two ex-HBS co-founders have together taken a company public.
About the Work
We're looking for a Fractional Senior Engineer to help us iterate quickly on our product as we search for PMF.
Specifically, you'll:
- Work across the frontend and backend
- Own new features from idea to production, its a very greenfield environment and highly autonomous
- Help us refactor some code to our new stack
- Work closely with the Lead Engineer on the team, including pairing
Our current stack is:
NOTE: the tech stack will change, we might go with a Python or RoR backend. Still being decided.
- React & Vite frontend (Typescript)
- Supabase backend
- AI app (needs to be rewritten in Python with better tooling)
About You
You MUST have:
- Played Senior, Staff, Architect, or equivalent engineering roles at other tech startups
- Very early-stage experience (sub-5 engineers ideally)
- You understand the balance between moving quickly and practically vs. introducing too much technical debt
- Typescript expertise
- Node/Bun/Deno, Python, and/or Ruby on Rails expertise
- Are optimistic about AI and have deep curiosity, must have built some kind of AI project/feature before, even if a side project!
- Full overlapping hours with USA Eastern Time
- Not currently working a full-time job
- It will likely be too hard for you to work with us synchronously during normal hours and this is important
