We have more than 700,000 users, with a 4.8 App Store rating, and one of the top 50 iOS apps in the Sports category.
About the Work
We're primarily an iOS product, but are expanding internationally and need to start building our web product to meet the upcoming demand. We're looking for a Fractional Senior Frontend Engineer to lead frontend for our web experience, along with continuing to improve our existing internal tools.
Specifically, you'll:
- Lay all the frontend groundwork for our new web app, using the same backend that powers our iOS app
- Improve our existing internal tools that supports company operations
- Collaborate with a small team of backend and iOS engineers, and our CTO
Tech stack:
- React / Nextjs (Typescript)
- Tailwind
- Ruby on Rails
- Postgres
- Vercel
- AWS
About You
You MUST have:
- 6+ years frontend-focused experience
- If you're a full-stack engineer, you must have spent significant time on the frontend, AND genuinely enjoy frontend work
- Built frontends for consumer-facing applications, OR B2B applications that feel consumer-y (e.g. Slack)
- Early-stage startup experience
- You can be based anywhere in the world, but must offer some ET hours overlap, including a daily 10am ET meeting
Nice-to-haves:
- Former founder
- Rails experience
- Any interest in sports, gambling, or video games
