Senior Flutter Engineer

Contract length: 3-6 months

Hours: ~20/week

We are seeking a Senior/Staff Flutter Engineer with deep expertise in front-end and mobile development. This is a part time, 3-6-month contract role requiring a self-driven engineer who can independently own projects, mentor others, and contribute to high-quality code and documentation. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and has significant experience in Flutter, mobile development, and fintech or crypto industries.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter at an expert level.
• Work autonomously on features, ensuring scalable and maintainable code.
• Create and maintain clear and thorough technical documentation.
• Mentor and support other engineers on Flutter best practices and architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend) to deliver seamless product experiences.
• Communicate technical decisions and status clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deliver within tight timelines and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in front-end engineering.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Flutter (expert level required).
• 3+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence.
• Must be available full time for the next 6 months.
• Experience in fintech or crypto is a major plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead by example.
