Brightmetrics is a B2B SaaS company transforming how contact centers leverage analytics. We’re looking for a hands-on consultant to embed with our tight-knit sales team (VP of Sales + 2 reps) and help us unlock a more consistent, AI-powered outbound engine.
This is not a strategy-from-the-sidelines role. You’ll jump in on live calls, evolve our outbound plays, demystify AI tooling, and help operationalize repeatable success. We're not hiring a slide deck—we're hiring a builder, coach, and modernizer.
AI isn’t the centerpiece of this role—but it’s a vital catalyst. As sales evolves, AI tools have become powerful accelerators for personalization, productivity, and pipeline growth. We’re looking for a proven sales leader who has not only driven results but also guided teams through the practical adoption of AI in their workflows. This engagement is about more than quick wins—it’s about embedding smarter systems, evolving our outbound process, and scaling performance in a way that sticks.
Our Sales Context
· B2B SaaS with a clear vertical (contact centers)
· Deal size: $10K–$70K ARR
· Sales cycle: 60–270 days
· Target buyers: Directors/VPs of Contact Center Operations
· Tech stack: HubSpot CRM + Apollo
Your Role
· Embed with our sales org to observe, audit, and improve day-to-day execution
· Analyze outbound sequences, discovery calls, deal flow, and CRM usage
· Coach reps and our manager on advancing deals and building pipeline consistently
· Identify weak points in messaging, urgency creation, and follow-through
· Guide us in adopting and integrating AI tools (e.g. for research, personalization, sequencing, coaching)
· Help update our outbound plays and train us to evolve them as we scale

Outcomes We Care About
· Increased entry into the top of funnel: higher connect rates, more discovery calls booked, better conversion on outbound sequences
· Greater efficiency within the funnel: reps consistently advancing deals, improving follow-through, and reducing stall points
· Outbound sequence performance and personalization uplift
· Clear, evolving outbound playbook with AI integration baked in
· Reps and manager confidently using AI tools for research, messaging, and coaching
· CRM hygiene and pipeline reviews becoming value drivers, not rituals
Requirements
· A seasoned B2B SaaS sales leader or consultant – especially with $10k-$70k ACVs and similar sales cycles for companies that don’t have unlimited budgets.
· Comfortable embedding in a lean, collaborative, async-first environment team – and earning trust quickly
· Fluent in moderd GTM stacks – including Apollo, Hubspot, and AI augmentation
· Excited by the intersection fo sales and AI – and able to bridge the gap for non-technical team members
· A strong communicator, tactician, and coach – with real-world impact on performance metrics
Bonus Points If You
· Have coached sales leaders directly (not just reps)
· Have case studies showing real impact on outbound performance
· Have led or enabled AI adoption inside a sales org and can share learnings
· Can show how you stay current with tools like ChatGPT, Lavender, Clay, etc.
