Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Fractional Product Marketing Manager for our demand capture and conversion initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about category design, product storytelling, and creating compelling educational content that converts prospects into customers. This fractional role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution to drive market positioning, sales enablement, and customer conversion through our category-defining approach to restaurant decision intelligence.

Key Deliverables Over Time

  • Draft product messaging and collaborate with VP of Product and executives to finalize positioning using category design techniques (Frame It, Name It, Claim It)
  • Translate product messaging into information architecture for web pages, sales materials, and product knowledge bases
  • Design sales materials including presentation slides and informational materials for events and customer meetings
  • Create sales assets such as discovery frameworks, demo narratives, objection handling guides, and competitive differentiation materials
  • Develop case studies and customer success stories for marketing and sales purposes across all customer touchpoints
  • Find and develop buyer enablement materials including knowledge guides, insights, and educational content that support the decision-making process
  • Project manage product launches from initial scoping through communications planning to launch execution and post-launch analysis
  • Draft thought leadership content for the website blog that reinforces category positioning and educates the market
  • Assist in conducting research for white papers, industry reports, and category-defining content

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years in product marketing roles with demonstrated success in messaging, positioning, and sales enablement
  • 2+ years working with emerging categories, new product launches, or early-stage technology companies
  • Experience in enterprise or SMB software marketing with understanding of complex sales cycles
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions
  • Strong writing skills across various formats including web copy, sales materials, and thought leadership content
  • Experience working directly with sales teams to create effective enablement materials
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Understanding of how positioning and messaging drive market perception

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/data concepts and ability to accurately represent technical capabilities
  • Background in restaurant operations and decision-making processes
  • Skills in competitive landscape analysis and developing differentiation strategies
  • Experience with category design methodologies and market education strategies
  • Familiarity with restaurant technology ecosystem and industry challenges
