About The Job
Will Be Live is looking for a Fractional Product Marketing Advisor with deep manufacturing expertise to lead go-to-market planning and commercial integration for a new product being brought to market through an acquisition.
This is not a traditional PMM seat. You’ll be operating at the intersection of brand strategy, channel enablement, and revenue orchestration -- translating positioning into market traction across agents, distributors, and sales teams. Your job is to turn narrative clarity into operational precision and make sure creative strategy carries all the way through to field execution.
You won’t just support the work. You’ll help own and shape the systems that carry it forward.
The Role
You’ll embed into a launch roadmap that includes phases of strategic research, readiness planning, messaging development, commercial enablement, and post-launch learning. Your contributions will span from building segmentation frameworks to refining positioning and pricing insights, enabling internal teams with the tools they need to win, and ensuring the launch communicates confidence across every touchpoint. You’ll partner closely with brand strategists and client stakeholders to lead internal clarity, channel alignment, and executional follow-through. Custom product differentiation, distributor dynamics, and internal sales activation will all fall within your zone of influence.
You might be a fit if:
- You’ve launched or integrated products inside manufacturing or industrial companies.
- You’ve worked in or around indirect sales environments—agents, reps, distributors.
- You’ve helped turn acquisition strategy into market-ready GTM execution.
- You’re equally comfortable talking to the C-suite, the sales floor, and the creative team.
- You can write messaging frameworks, build enablement tools, and align siloed teams without needing a playbook handed to you.
Must-Have Skills
- Manufacturing and OEM GTM experience
- Sales enablement strategy for internal and external field teams
- Channel/distributor marketing understanding
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience building and owning GTM roadmaps across product lifecycle stages
Engagement Details
Length: ~6 months (part-time, phased across research to post-launch)
Start: June
