Fractional Marketing Leader – Healthcare & Financial Services Secure Data & Collaboration (Part-Time)

Our products directly support healthcare providers, imaging networks, and regulated medical environments, helping organizations eliminate insecure workarounds and streamline collaboration with HIPAA- and GDPR-compliant platforms.
We are expanding our team with a Fractional Marketing Leader to strengthen our healthcare positioning, develop go-to-market strategies, and build qualified pipelines with hospitals, imaging groups, and healthcare partners.
Role Overview
This is a part-time role (10–20 hours/week initially) designed for a leader with a medical account manager background and experience in healthcare IT marketing or provider sales. You will define and execute strategies that connect BluVault to clinical, operational, and compliance leaders across hospitals, IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks), and radiology networks, while also chasing down leads and converting them into opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Marketing Strategy
- Segmentation & Targeting
- Define buyer personas: CIO, CISO, CMIO, PACS/RIS Admins, Compliance Officers, Radiology Directors.
- Prioritize outreach by healthcare segment: hospitals, radiology networks, outpatient centers, and academic medical centers.
- Messaging & Positioning
- Develop positioning that highlights secure PHI workflows, HIPAA compliance, and encrypted collaboration as differentiators.
- Create ROI narratives around reduced breach risk, improved staff efficiency, and compliance cost savings.
- Tailor value propositions for clinical (radiology groups), operational (hospital IT), and executive (C-suite) audiences.
- Channel Strategy
- Execute digital campaigns through LinkedIn, healthcare IT forums, and targeted webinars.
- Leverage industry associations (HIMSS, RSNA, SIIM, CHIME) for credibility and visibility.
- Develop thought-leadership content (white papers, case studies, and executive briefs) to educate buyers.
- Lead Nurturing & Conversion
- Build account-based marketing campaigns targeting top healthcare systems, radiology networks and the financial services sector.
- Design drip campaigns aligned with healthcare buying cycles and compliance deadlines.
- Support direct sales with vertical-specific one-pagers, sales decks, and case studies.
- Long-Term Brand Positioning
- Position BluVault as the trusted healthcare encryption and collaboration layer for PHI/PII data.
- Build partnerships with various vendors to expand the reach of BluVault as the standard for local data security and exchange.
- Establish a roadmap for expansion into adjacent healthcare sectors (payer networks, insurance, telehealth).
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Leverage healthcare account management experience to identify decision-makers in hospitals, imaging networks, and health systems.
- Launch targeted outreach campaigns (hospital IT leaders, radiology groups, compliance officers).
- Produce tailored one-pagers, sales decks, and case studies that highlight clinical and operational ROI.
Market Intelligence & Partnerships
- Track competitors in various sectors for secure local data storage and exchange.
- Develop messaging that resonates with hospital networks, teleradiology providers, and compliance-driven organizations.
Campaign Development & Events
- Run demand-gen programs via LinkedIn, webinars, ad campaigns and industry associations.
- Run ad campaigns specifically designed to generate demand for individual BluVault licenses.
- Support presence at HIMSS, SIIM, RSNA, and other healthcare and financial services forums.
- Collaborate with leadership to deliver investor decks with a strong healthcare and financial services adoption stories.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Medical account manager or healthcare IT sales/marketing background required.
- 7–10+ years in B2B Healthcare IT Marketing or Enterprise SaaS for healthcare providers.
- Proven ability to generate leads and build relationships with hospital executives and imaging groups.
- Strong experience in HIPAA-compliant solution marketing, demand generation, and storytelling for healthcare buyers.
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving startup/scale-up environment.
- Network within hospital systems, radiology groups, and healthcare IT consultants a strong plus.
