Lead Mobile Engineer

We're looking for a U.S.-based Lead Engineer (React Native + Node.js) to take over our existing codebase from our offshore dev team, complete key Phase 2 features, and help us successfully launch our app on the App Store and Google Play.

This is not a CTO role—we’re seeking an experienced developer who can move quickly, ship reliably, and work independently with clear product goals. You’ll play a mission-critical part in delivering the final build, integrating Stripe/Twilio, managing QA, and supporting our beta → public launch.

Project Scope:

Audit the current React Native + Node.js codebase (already live in TestFlight & Android APK)

Implement remaining Phase 2 features.

Finalize builds for submission to App Store & Google Play

Provide light on-call support during post-launch window

You might be a great fit if you:

Have shipped multiple production-level mobile apps using React Native

Are comfortable with Node.js or PHP backend handoffs

Have worked with Stripe (Connect), Twilio, AWS, and CI/CD

Are based in the U.S. (timezone alignment is critical)

Have experience picking up and improving another dev’s code

Are execution-focused and comfortable working without a big team

Rate: $80–100/hour (depending on experience)
