We're a marketplace for buying and selling used buses globally. The business has brand new owners, and the goal is to transform it into a tech and data business.

We're currently doing $5MM annual revenue aiming to do $8MM this year.

About the Work

We're using an offshore engineering team right now, and are struggling with product quality. We're looking for a Fractional Lead Frontend Engineer who can help us set a new quality bar for our team.

Specifically, you'll:

• Own the frontend codebase
• Lead our offshore backend engineer by example (based in LatAm)
• As the most senior engineer on the team, establish our technical roadmap
• Help develop our data strategy
• Work most closely with our PM and our CEO

Tech stack:

• React frontend (web)
• PHP backend
• Heavy usage of Algolia

About You

You MUST have:

• Deep Frontend & React expertise - this is your bread and butter
• Plenty of Algolia experience
• Use AI tools into your day-to-day workflow
• Can overlap with regular ET hours

Nice-to-haves:

• Built software in industries like:
  • Digital automotive
  • Equipment
  • Marketplaces
  • Auction software
• PHP experience
