About Us
We provide managed services, managed security, and managed compliance solutions for organizations in the healthcare sector. Our customers include provider networks, payers, health tech companies, government health agencies, academic medical centers, and more.
We're doing about $15MM annual revenue, and are generally recognized as a major player in the healthcare IT space.
About the Work
We have a founder-led sales motion that we just can't seem to escape from. We're looking for a Fractional Head of Sales who can own sales execution top-down, and create the playbook for us along the way.
Specifically, you'll:
- Create a lead gen playbook that targets c-suite decision makers at:
- Provider systems
- Payers
- Health-tech startups
- government health agencies
- Academic medical centers
- Own the sales process from lead through deal close
- Deal sizes average around $40K / mo, but can be as high as $500K / mo
- Sales cycle is highly variable from just days to 1 year+
- Discover new ways to bring in leads for us. What do you think we should try? We have no formal outbound motion
- Deepen partnerships with our cloud providers (a big source of leads for us), including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Collaborate with the founder/CEO, and our delivery/implementation team
- There is no existing sales team other than the founder
We expect this role to need around 15 -20 hrs / week, with a total compensation (base + commission) targeting around $10K - $15K / mo. If there's mutual interest, it could convert into a full-time role too.
About You
You MUST have:
- Deep experience selling into the healthcare industry. This includes any of:
- provider systems
- payers/health insurers
- health tech
- government health agencies
- medical centers
- healthcare research orgs
- Sold technology solutions
- IT services / Managed services
- Tech-enabled services
- B2B SaaS
- Good knowledge of both the business of healthcare and healthcare IT (data practices, security, compliance, etc.)
- A hands-on seller. If you're looking to manage or coach others, we won't be the right fit
- Based anywhere (BUT you must have significant experience with the US healthcare system)
