We’re seeking a Fractional Head of Marketing to drive Solara6 and Space Dinosaurs’ marketing strategy and execution, starting at 10-15 hours weekly and potentially evolving into a full time role down the road. This role blends high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll be responsible for crafting and implementing a clear, ROI-focused marketing roadmap - from brand positioning and content strategy to lead generation, campaign execution, and measurement.
This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role - ideal for a marketer who’s equally comfortable designing a go-to-market strategy and personally writing a lead-nurture sequence or running a webinar.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine Solara6’s and Space Dinosaurs’ brand narratives and market positioning
- Build and execute ROI-driven marketing strategies that generate and nurture leads across channels
- Generate awareness of our brands in the market
- Create and manage content for demand generation, including blogs, webinars, whitepapers, case studies, and landing pages
- Lead email and LinkedIn campaigns (both organic and paid) to drive awareness and qualified pipeline
- Plan and execute lead nurture workflows, marketing automation, and retargeting initiatives
- Oversee PR and brand amplification, ensuring consistency of voice and message across channels
- Track and report marketing performance metrics tied directly to revenue and ROI
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and business development team to align marketing priorities with sales goals
- Identify new marketing channels and partnerships to expand reach and visibility
Ideal Background
- 10+ years of experience in marketing for technology professional services, digital agencies, or SaaS
- Proven ability to balance strategy and execution - comfortable as both leader and individual contributor
- Demonstrated success building or scaling marketing functions for high-growth professional-services or consulting brands
- Deep understanding of B2B marketing funnels, content strategy, and performance metrics
- Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and campaign tools (HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Ads, Dripify, SimilarWeb, Clay, etc.)
- Strong storytelling and writing skills; capable of producing compelling content and messaging directly
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for measurable outcomes
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, or digital transformation sectors is a plus
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful; thrives in lean, fast-moving environments
