About Us
Dream Home Roofing is seeking an experienced Fractional Head of Marketing to provide senior-level strategic leadership for our performance marketing function. This role is designed for a proven operator with deep experience in home services who has owned revenue outcomes and built internal marketing teams.
This is not an agency engagement and not a branding-focused role. We are looking for a hands-on strategic leader who can design, guide, and mentor while holding the organization accountable to measurable performance.
Role Overview
The Fractional Head of Marketing will be responsible for setting marketing strategy, defining performance targets, and mentoring our internal marketing team to execute effectively. This role reports directly to ownership and serves as the senior marketing authority during a critical growth phase.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with pipeline math and understands how marketing performance translates into appointments, close rates, and revenue.
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
Candidates must have:
- Led marketing for home services companies, such as:
- Roofing
- Solar
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Restoration
- Direct ownership of revenue and pipeline performance, not only content or brand initiatives
- Experience managing and developing in-house marketing teams
- Hands-on experience managing $100K+/month advertising budgets or equivalent lead volume
- Strong command of:
- Cost per lead (CPL)
- Appointment rates
- Close rates
- Revenue forecasting and capacity planning
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain overall marketing strategy
- Define lead volume targets and acceptable CPL thresholds
- Translate strategy into executable:
- Campaigns
- Funnels
- Offers
- Messaging frameworks
- Provide weekly mentorship and development for the in-house marketer
- Set clear expectations for execution and accountability
- Provide structured creative direction to production resources
- Review performance metrics and report directly to ownership
- Lead monthly KPI and performance reviews
Time Commitment & Structure
- 5–10 hours per week
- Weekly standing strategy meeting
- Slack access for ongoing collaboration
- Monthly KPI review with ownership
Compensation
- $4,000–$8,000 per month, based on experience
- 90-day minimum engagement
Ideal Backgrounds
We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds such as:
- Former VP or Director of Marketing who transitioned to fractional work
- Home-services growth consultants with a track record of building internal teams
- Former agency leaders who have directly owned revenue outcomes
