Digital Diagnostics is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Fractional Controller to lead our financial operations and support the continued growth of our cardiac telemedicine business. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting skills, operational finance experience, and a proactive, systems-oriented mindset.
About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing and improving our financial processes, including billing, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, cash flow forecasting, vendor management, lender reporting, compliance, and monthly close coordination. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to ensure financial accuracy, discipline, and visibility across the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
-Review and oversee billing operations and daily revenue tracking
-Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable and collections
-Review and process vendor bills, manage A/P runs, and validate recurring expenses
-Lead payroll review and approval process, including overtime and bonus oversight
-Manage company’s cash flows, working capital and draws/paydowns of Line of Credit where necessary
-Maintain and update a 13-week cash flow model
-Participate in monthly financial close, variance reviews, and compliance reporting
-Create and update monthly financial reports to bank lender
-Support SOX compliance and assist with third-party audit and IT control processes
-Coordinate with vendors on connectivity/ISP billing, contract reviews, and insurance renewals
-Serve as a thought partner on cost management and process improvements
Who We’re Looking For
-5+ years of relevant accounting/controllership experience (healthcare or services background a plus)
-Expert knowledge of accounting systems (experience with Sage Intacct preferred)
-Proven ability to manage complex A/R, A/P, payroll, and cash flow processes
-Detail-oriented with excellent judgment in responding to customer billing issues and audit requests
-Strong communicator who can coordinate across internal teams, external vendors, and financial institutions
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote startup-like environment
