We've provided billions of dollars in life insurance coverage and served almost 100,000 families to date, and are doing 8-figures in annual revenue.

About the Work

As our existing Head of Finance is departing, we're looking for a Fractional CFO to get up to speed quickly and carry the torch forward on all our financial operations.

Specifically, you'll:

• Build extensive financial models to drive our planning
  • Specific focus on scenario modeling of new product launches and how they impact our forecasts
• Manage our monthly budget, and improve our budgeting process in general
• Oversee the general financial operations across our three different subsidiaries that roll up into our brand
• Manage our internal accountant and our outsourced accounting firm

About You

Required criteria:

• You've played CFO / Head of Finance type roles at other technology-focused companies
• Significant FP&A expertise
• A solid accounting foundation
• Familiarity with B2C software business models, LTV/CAC metrics, etc.
• Offer significant overlap with EST hours (but can be based anywhere)

NIce-to-haves:

• Prior work in insurtech or fintech
• Familiarity with managing financial ops across multiple subsidiaries
• Investment banking experience
