About IV Ensure
IV Ensure is a rapidly growing healthcare technology startup company dedicated to transforming outpatient and home-based IV therapy through innovative remote therapeutic monitoring solutions. We partner with major payers, health systems, and rural hospitals to improve patient outcomes, enhance provider workflows, and enable scalable, data-driven operations. As we prepare for significant growth, expanded payer contracts, and upcoming fundraising milestones, we are seeking a highly skilled Fractional Financial Analyst to support our internal financial operations, strategic planning, and investor-related needs. The role will start as fractional with the goal to bring the ideal candidate on full time.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fractional Financial Analyst with proven success in early-stage or high-growth startup environments. This role will support financial modeling, forecasting, waterfall analysis, operational analysis, investor diligence, and strategic decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities. Experience in healthcare, SaaS, RTM, medical devices, or payer-provider models is highly desirable but not required.
This is a contract / fractional role with flexible hours (10–20 hours per week on average), reporting directly to the CFO and supporting the executive team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & Forecasting
- Build, refine, and maintain dynamic financial models, including revenue growth scenarios, staffing ramp models, and payer contract impact analyses.
- Develop cash flow forecasts, burn-rate tracking, and runway evaluations.
- Create and update unit economics, cohort analyses, device margin modeling, and cost-to-serve models.
- Support pricing strategy and ROI models for payer and hospital partnerships.
Investor & Fundraising Support
- Prepare financial materials for investor conversations, board meetings, and due diligence.
- Conduct waterfall analyses, cap table scenario modeling, and dilution modeling for fundraising rounds.
- Assist with investor data room preparation, document organization, and financial narrative development.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, compelling insights for external stakeholders.
Operational & Strategic Finance
- Support monthly/quarterly reporting including KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics (e.g., adherence trends, device distribution costs, logistics performance, inventory forecasting).
- Evaluate vendor pricing, supply chain cost structures, and operational processes to identify financial optimization opportunities.
- Partner with operations, logistics, clinical, and technology teams to model the financial impact of new workflows, programs, and partnerships.
- Support budgeting, variance analysis, and scenario planning across departments.
Analytics & Decision Support
- Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses to guide executive decision-making.
- Build reporting tools (Excel/Google Sheets dashboards, lightweight BI models) supporting cross-functional visibility.
- Deliver insights tied to payer performance, patient volumes, device utilization, staffing plans, and clinical program scaling.
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in early-stage startups, healthcare tech, SaaS, or related fields.
- Advanced expertise in Excel / Google Sheets, including dynamic models, sensitivity analysis, macros (preferred), and financial automation workflows.
- Experience with waterfall modeling, cap table structures, investor economics, and fundraising support.
- Strong understanding of GAAP basics, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting concepts.
- Ability to translate financial data into clear business recommendations for leadership.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable operating in an environment where structure is evolving, timelines move quickly, and priorities may shift.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in healthcare, payers, medical devices, or RTM programs.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)—not required, but helpful.
- Exposure to Series A or growth-stage fundraising processes.
- Prior work with supply chain or logistics financial modeling is a plus.
Engagement Details
- Part-time / fractional contract
- Flexible schedule (10–20 hours/week)
- Remote role
- Competitive fractional hourly or project-based compensation depending on experience
