Enterprise Business Systems Consultant

The ideal candidate is a former technology leader with deep experience leading enterprise go-to-market systems in a SaaS environment.

Flexera is seeking a seasoned business systems executive to provide hands-on leadership over a six-month contract engagement (20-30 hours/week). This individual will partner closely with business and technology leaders to drive strategic initiatives, guide technology investments, evaluate organizational capabilities, and ensure the continued execution of key priorities across the enterprise systems landscape.

Responsibilities

• Assist with business case rationale for funding of ongoing strategic initiatives across Salesforce, Quote-to-Cash, enterprise applications, integrations, and data platforms
• Drive prioritization, execution oversight, and governance for key business systems initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, operational efficiency, scalability, and organizational effectiveness
• Evaluate the current enterprise systems operating model and implement improvements where needed
• Assess organizational capabilities, team structure, leadership responsibilities, and skill gaps.
• Develop technology roadmap recommendations and investment strategies to support future growth
• Advise executive leadership on the long-term structure, leadership needs, and future direction of the function

Qualifications

• Former technology VP/SVP/CIO with deep expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem
• Experience leading Enterprise Systems, Business Applications, Business Technology, or Digital Transformation organizations in a SaaS company
• Experience supporting companies in the $500M-$2B+ ARR range
• Strong experience across Quote-to-Cash processes, enterprise applications, enterprise architecture, integrations, and data platforms
• Proven success leading technology and business process transformation initiatives
• Experience with M&A integration and post-acquisition systems strategy
• Experience leading and developing organizations of 30+ team members
• Track record of building scalable operating models, governance frameworks, and business capabilities
